2,700 Doctors Sit Royal College of Physicians of Ireland Examinations using TestReach’s Remote Invigilation Technology During COVID-19 Pandemic
The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI) announced that 2,700 doctors, from 38 countries, have taken its written membership examinations for postgraduate medical qualifications during the past year using advanced remote examination invigilation technology developed by TestReach. The RCPI expects the number of doctors sitting examinations using TestReach’s technology to increase during 2021. Test-centre based RCPI membership exams were postponed last year for a time due to COVID-19 restrictions, and an alternative way to sit a secure, invigilated exam was urgently required to allow doctors to progress through their training and career. By moving quickly to utilise remote invigilation technology, RCPI has enabled doctors to continue to sit their exams, in a secure manner, from home or a secure location. This has been of critical importance to enable trainee doctors continue with their career progress and professional development.

Covid-19 : TestReach Remote Invigilation Service is Fully Operational
COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is having a large impact on summative assessment, with many exams that were due to be run in test centres either being cancelled or significantly disrupted.
In these difficult times, the TestReach remote invigilation service is fully operational and we are supporting our customers as they continue rolling out formal exams, which we supervise online, without the need for candidates to come to a test centre.
If your exams are being impacted by COVID-19 and you’d like to explore options that can be quickly and easily rolled out, we’d welcome the opportunity to have a chat and can provide you with information on which to make an informed decision straight away.
The Compliance and Skills Academy Shortlisted for eAssessment Award
We are delighted to share the news that our client, The Compliance & Skills Academy, have been shortlisted for a coveted eAssessment Award! The Compliance & Skills Academy were shortlisted in the “Best Use of Summative Assessment” category. This is in recognition of the exceptional work done over the past few years to make Level 1 Health & Safety training and examinations available online to all construction workers in the UK. COSAC’s innovative Safe2Site course means that workers at any location in the UK can study their course online, and then using TestReach remote invigilation, can sit a secure, invigilated exam online. This has massively increased accessibility to this qualification for all. Even during the restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, workers have been able to continue to access this course and sit their exam to obtain the required “Green Labourers’ Card”.
